The Stripe System

A visible path from first session to Black Stripe.

Every Zim Sports Group program uses the same seven levels. Coaches assess technical skill, game stats, and character on monthly Test Days. Players must meet all three to advance.

  1. 01

    White · Starter

Every new player begins here. A verified profile, first session, and the habits that make the rest of the ladder possible.

  2. 02

    Yellow · Foundation

Grip, stance, first touches. Coaches look for repeatable form and the willingness to train on purpose.

  3. 03

    Orange · Control

The athlete can execute under light pressure. Game stats start to count alongside technical work.

  4. 04

    Green · Game sense

Decisions get faster. The player reads space, teammates, and the next play — not just the ball.

  5. 05

    Blue · Competitor

League-ready. Consistent performances, leadership in small moments, and a clear training week.

  6. 06

    Red · Advanced

High-frequency work. The athlete is preparing for representative play and holding a higher standard between evaluations.

  7. 07

    Black · Master

Elite pathway. Reserved for athletes who meet every technical, statistical, and character mark on Test Day.

How Test Day works

Evaluations run monthly at each site. New players register, receive a verified profile, and start at White Stripe. Coaches score the three criteria in the open. The same ladder applies to tennis, soccer, basketball, cricket, robotics, and the rest of the group — so a family in two sports is still speaking one language.
